Abnormality gifts add some priority to try and get your workers interacting with more than just whoever's easy to access and deal with, and the ability to train a worker's stats by using the related work method means there's incentive to have workers do things you know another would already be good at. Plus, there are a good handful of different things to motivate gameplay and interacting with things out of your comfort zone, which I appreciate. Most things happen for reasons you can play around, avoid, or be on the lookout for, and the ability to restart a day with what you've learned really makes it feel like Learning the game, rather than just being destroyed again and again for no reason. and that stuff kind of made me think it sounded like it'd be unfun for the sake of being tough, but actually. I heard people describe it a lot as being unfair, unforgiving, hating the player, ETC.
